It is located 390 kilometers from north of Bangkok. Its major attraction is Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, a revered bronze Buddha image at Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat. It is generally considered the second most important Buddha image of the country (after the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok).
